Our present civilization is ecologically unsustainable in its present form and our descendants will be living very differently in a few decades, whether their new way of life arises by conscious choice or whether the ravages of global warming change their life by default.

Global warming is the greatest threat to both continuing life as we know it and to the survival of life in general upon earth. Through the excessive combustion of oil and other fossil fuels and through the conversion of 1/2 of the Earth's forests and natural habitats for growing crops (which formerly provided our necessary atmospheric conditioning) we have unleashed a deadly array of forces that will take a huge toll on lives and lifestyles in the near future. The certainty of this happening is no longer an issue. It is virtually guaranteed. The only questions are how large the impact and for how long the devastation.

In spite of this and other emerging global problems, it is well past time that we move forward with a new plan to create life that is nurturing, enjoyable, fulfiilling and less stressful than that of our current ways.

The 1000 Year Home Foundation has been formed to provide a center for the gathering, testing, prototyping, and sharing of knowledge that will help society build new foundations that are capable of supporting life in the most nurturing, moral, loving, and practical ways.

We are now standing at the gateway of "The Turn", a singular bifurcation point in the evolution of the human race. It is here where we are being asked to place the power and authority of the rational logical mind on hold long enough to surrender the center of our self to a new directing voice - that of the heart and its creative intuitive guidance.

When we make the required surrender, a greater Power is able to flow through that will allow us to become powerful co-creators in harmony with an underlying Purposiveness that lies behind all of Creation.

A whole new age lies before us - the Age of Creativity & Intuition- a time when people will be able to bring great beauty into both their inner and outer worlds - a time of heart felt re-building of both our inner and our outer environments. Everything today will be subject to change while rapid and massive change becomes a common daily occurrence.

THE WORLD IS CURENTLY MOVING SO FAST THAT CHANGE HAS BECOME COMMON PLACE AND STRESS AND UNCERTAINTY OUR GREATEST CHALLENGE

Over the last decade, there has been a quickening that has emerged as an underlying force - a necessary component of our evolution and the energy that will see us through the gateway at The Turn. It will be impossible to hold on to our old ways and our practices and belief systems which were created during the last era of the peak of the use of the rational and logical mind - the Information Age.

A number of serious and life threatening global problems are beginning to emerge and will without a doubt change life as we know it today. The only unknown is the severity and length of time these problems will affect us. It is a certainty that everyone will be dramatically affected.

Over the last 200 years, global population has increased from a sustainable 1 billion people to 6.5 today going on 9 or 10 billion people by 2050. Two key factors are responsible for this aggressive increase in overpopulation. The first was a one time endowment of cheap and abundant oil which will become fully depleted by 2050 or before. The second and more insidious is our economic system which has become a legal methodology for gaining profits for the benefit of a small number of business people (the merchants) by seducing the majority of our population to over consume a vast array of goods and services. It is normal for people to want to satisfy their lower senses and drives but it is not moral to do so at the expense of our global environment and at the exclusion of the greatest proportion of our global population which is barely able to survive.

Where we went wrong was to look the other way and not become responsible citizens which allowed an unprecedented amount of carbon dioxide to be released into the Earth's atmosphere and kick off what may prove to be an irreversible "melt-down" of the Earth's natural atmosphere conditioning systems. Even though this may initially appear to have a negative impact upon life, in a positive light, it will encourage us to come into alignment with the nurturing aspects of life that modern society has lost during its destructive expansion.

The Age of Creativity & Intuition, the era that we will be bringing in as we get through the more difficult aspects of the transitional period, will be based upon very different values and approaches to life. Instead of the acquisition of personal power through the ego's conquest of the outer world (without regard for the chain of causation that precedes and follows our actions), we will be asked to put aside the ego's shallow, illusionary and self-centered desires in exchange for authentic desires that will nurture each and every one of us while bringing beauty, peace, balance, and harmony into the world.

As we make it through The Turn, a whole new sense of moral rightness will emerge which will literally change our viewpoint that considers people mainly as economic objects subject to exploitation in the aggressive search for profits. Instead, we will begin to value individuals for the spectacular Connection they have established with the Voice of the Purposiveness and its breathtaking legacies that will begin to emerge in our outer work and activities.

We begin by first changing our own personal consciousness. There is nothing we can truly do to change our outer world until we first change our inner self. It all begins from within, and the first step in this process is to acquire true knowledge about how life works, why, and how we can align ourselves with its underlying Purposiveness. Once we do this, we can then come up with an appropriate personal and collective vision for the future which holds such inherent truth that we can support it with all of our heart and mind with complete faith in its direction.

Once we've gone through this necessary inner transformation, we can accurately pursue our own life path which will allow us to join and integrate with others doing the same in the outer world. By acquiring access to archetypal knowledge and then by learning to listen to our inner voice and developing our desires from that level, we will be able to collectively begin transforming our outer world as a reflection of what is within and give birth to truth and beauty in our outer world.

Our outer work will be guided by a new set of principles for designing, building, and combining new types of communities and living spaces, transportation methods, energy sources, and all of the other components that are required for increasing the quality of life for ourselves and future generations while at the same time we become responsible custodians of our remaining limited and precious natural resources.

Designing, prototyping, and planting seeds for future generations through the creation of new community models and homes that last a 1000 years is the secondary effect that will emerge when enough of us have shifted our centers and have positively transformed our inner consciousness. This is our next stage of human development and can be called the Age of Creativity & Intuition. This new era will emerge at the beginning of the 21st century and continue through the length of time it takes to move all of society through the coming transitional period of The Turn.

While we promote positive change, share new ideas, and provide new techniques and concepts, there will be tremendous resistance to change and a lengthy period of time will follow which will be filled with chaos and confusion. Yet, in spite of all of the loss of physical possessions and the giving up of old beliefs, we will be bringing into our lives much higher energy patterns and our future possessions will begin taking on higher integral value in terms of nurture, peace of mind, sustenance, and heart filled pleasure.

Even more important, our relationships with others in the world will gradually become positive, gentle, nurturing, caring, participatory and of great moral and practical value. We need each other to live whole lives and when we look back, after we go through the early years of this new era, we will see that the time of the lone wolf profiteer and isolated self-centered individual is finally over.

Our modern world has been created by the most powerful expansionary forces ever to emerge in human history - the seeking of profits within a system a free market economic system without limits and without a conscience or real concern for the chain of causation that leads up to the creation of every good and service and the impact it has upon our collective lives.

Even though we have accomplished a lot during recent times, we have unconsciously and vastly surpassed the natural carrying capacity of the earth to support 6.5 billion going on 9 billion people. Over the last 100 years, abundant and cheap oil and natural gas has allowed us to create an incredible consumerist ic profit based society and expand the magnitude of our population. Cheap energy has allowed us to artificially do that. However, today, we are facing a critical need to change this approach at a time when our worldwide energy demand has begun exceeding our energy supply. Over the next 20 years, our supplies will dwindle and life as we know it will be forced to change. If we wait until then, it will be too late to build the necessary foundational structure to shift into positive future life styles. The birth of our next developmental age, the Age of Creativity & Intuition, perfectly coincides with our need to come up with creative, practical, beautiful, and life supporting new foundational structure to make it through the Transition. We are entering one of the most interesting, exciting, and challenging times in our entire human evolution.

In 1999, the World Bank predicted that we would begin the 21st century fighting wars over oil and end it fighting wars over fresh water. Without oil, industrial life is impossible, yet life can go on even through vastly changed. But without water, human life is impossible. Privatize it, and you put the very existence of every man, every woman, every child, into the hands of a few corporations whose focus is solely on the pursuit of maximum profit and not the well being of all people. Global capitalists see water as a commodity not the source of life itself. We must do everything possible to protect the world's largest remaining bodies of fresh water from privatization and the devastation of the free enterprise system. It is time to create a "moral authority government" to establish this last frontier of water for the right to life of future generations.

By the middle of the 21st Century, the actual survival of mankind may depend on our foresight to create a new society, maybe even a new nation, around the world's largest bodies of fresh water, The Great Lakes Basin of North America.

The 1000 Year Home Foundation has been established as a non-profit organization with the goal of being supported by charitable contributions through the transitional time period that it will take us to individually go through The Turn and to create new structure. I do not know how long this transitional period will last. It will probably take at least the length of time for all of our currently constructed buildings to decay and become ripe for replacement, and it will also probably take as long as is needed to naturally reduce our population downward to the earth's sustainable population numbers. Consequently, 100 to 150 years will probably be needed to accomplish both goals while incurring the pain and suffering that the emerging massive global problems might inflict.

The most important thing that we can do right now, today, is to fully understand the Process of the Evolution of Consciousness and to clearly define and see where we've come from, where we are, and where we need to go. The dissemination of truth oriented archetypal knowledge is the first task of the 1000 Year Home Foundation, and we have released our new online course, The Manifestation Process & Mental Emotional Balancing Program.

Collectively society is nearing the 400 point on the Scale of Consciousness which is at a position I have labeled "The Turn" - a moment wherein each individual is being asked to become self aware and consciously responsible for helping us move in a new necessary and pre-destined future direction.

This is the very beginning of the Age of Intuition & Creativity that is described in depth in our course. At the end of this new age, we will have maxed out our individual personalities and have developed our intuitive insight to a level (at 500 on the scale) which could be considered as clairvoyant - a firm and real connection with the Voice of evolution that is helping us to progress along the path and an absolute knowing of our place and role as a channel for its expression. Only with this knowledge will we be able to successfully navigate our way through the chaos and the confusion that will begin to present itself on a regular daily basis. Only by truly knowing that there is a real Purpose behind life will we be able to support and embark upon long-term solutions that will not only provide a foundation for our future but also nurture our lives and create a level of wholeness that has not existed for a very long time.
